Ecuador’s backbone is the Andes mountain range—the longest continental range in the world. It runs north to south and divides the country into the western coastal lowlands, seen here, and the eastern jungles of the higher Amazon. The Galapagos Islands, 563 miles off the western coast, round out the nation’s four distinct natural regions.
There is so much to see and explore. But for now, The NIMBY will be up here.
